GFOAT Virtual Conference Questions and Answers
The GFOAT Fall Conference is taking place virtually this year! You will have access to keynote presentations, and the GFOAT Sponsor Hall starting November 19. Your registration gives you unlimited access to sessions through December 18, 2020 on your own schedule and pace.
When does registration open for the virtual conference?
Registration is now open.
How much will it cost to participate?
The early conference registration fee is $250 for members/$300 non-members. After November 9, the fee will increase to $300 for members and $350 for non-members.
What do I get for my registration fee?
Your registration fee will give you unlimited access to all conference sessions and the GFOAT Sponsor Hall through December 18, 2020. You can view sessions and visit with exhibitors any time of day and as often as you want during this timeframe.
Your registration fee covers:
- All keynote sessions
- Ability to chat with any workshop speaker
- All speaker handouts
- Individual visits with every Sponsor in the GFOAT Sponsor Hall
- Unlimited access through December 18
How will this virtual conference thing work?
The virtual conference will follow the timed program with the Opening General Session launching at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, All sessions will be recorded and archived so you can access the sessions you missed or want to view again whenever the mood strikes, until December 18, 2020.
Can our staff share one registration?
Just like the in-person GFOAT Fall Conference, your registration fee is for a single individual and cannot be shared. You will receive a unique join link for your personal online connection to the virtual conference.
Instructions on how to access conference sessions and the GFOAT Sponsors Hall will be sent to the email used when you register.
Will GFOAT refund my registration fee if I need to cancel?
Your registration cannot be cancelled for any reason. No refunds will be provided since the conference content will be archived and available through December 18, 2020.
Will speaker handouts be available?
Conference registrants will be able to download all presentation handouts received by GFOAT from the virtual conference website starting on November 17.
Can I earn CEU credits?
Only registered participants will earn credit by attending the virtual GFOAT Fall Conference on November 19 only. GFOAT will be monitoring who is in attendance and for what period of time and will provide certificates 1-week after the conference. After November 19 no CEU Credits will be provided.
Will GFOAT be conducting a virtual CGFO Exam?
Yes. The CGFO exams will be held on November 17. Visit the CGFO registration page for specific details of the virtual exam.
Will GFOAT have virtual committee and board meetings?
Yes. All committee meetings will be held on November 18 utilizing the Zoom platform. You may register for any meeting (except CGFO) that you are interested in attending.
The GFOAT Board of Directors meeting will be held on November 18 utilizing the Zoom platform after the committee meetings. You will need to register to attend this meeting.
Sponsor staff is required to register online for the conference. Please choose the “sponsor comp” option to use your complimentary registrations.
